Why Jews are successful at business?

 I don't think Jews are any exceptional people, They are believers with strong traditions and self discipline. Everyone can find that the tenets are the same just that we are not disciplined enough to carry them through.Maybe i'm wrong we don't have the same tenet because at the end of the day a Jew always will trust a Jew and be more than willing to help or do business with one but I can't say the same for us.

The Chameleon Theory: Where do you find a Jew? Answer: anywhere in the world. Since Jews have been nomadic throughout their history, they understand how to deal with people coming from different vantage points, which is a key to business success. This also means that the transfer of ideas and skill sets may occur more often in a Jewish existence than in other cultures, so Jews are more prone to bring efficiencies to market, and profit off of them.

Make Your Own Luck: Because the outside world, historically, hasn't been too kind to Jews, they've had to set out on their own, creating their own companies and practices. The best example is in Malcom Gladwell's Outliers where he tells a story of Jewish lawyers who only got the less prestigious merger work at any firm that would actually take them. Turns out, a few of them went out on their own, started a firm called Wachtel Lipton, and hit the wave just right. Now they turn down more business than they take on. They're the legal dream.

Pressure, Guilt from Mom: In a Jewish family, you better be something big, because your family is counting on you. There is a belief that you should be successful, because you were born to be successful. "If not my son, then whom?" your mother might say if you're Jewish. And Jewish mothers are very loving, you don't want to prove them wrong, trust me. 

Established Success: Because Jews are successful, they help other Jews become successful. It's just how it works. You meet in temple, serve on the board at the community center, etc. If "it's not what you know; it's who you know" holds any credibility whatsoever, then Jews know Jews, and since things are going well for a good number of them right now, the success sustains itself.

Jews are Funny: This answer applies not just to Jews who are successful comedians, but to Jews at large. I remember hearing of a conference on comedy in Germany which resolved that Germany just wasn't funny anymore  because there were less Jews. Yes, the Jewish style of depreciative humor is biting, humble and downright funny. That helps for interviews, sales deals and maintained relationship. A little sense of humor goes a long way

Cities: Jews live in cities or large population centers either because they need to, or just like to. Whichever, the closer you are to the core of the economy (usually cities) the better chance you have of making some serious cash. After all, we do know that the best predictor of income is zip code. How's that for an answer?

Innate Knack: This is the least scientific of them all, but I think there may just be an innate knack in many Jews. They just have a sixth sense for business.
