Kay Madati, First Black Face at Facebook ?

    

 Facebook for a longtime never talked about how many people they have as staff who are of the African origin, so it was a bit of a surprise when I stumbled on this gentlemen who might not necessarily be the first black worker but surely will be the first we know holds such and important position.

Meet  Mr Kay Madati, a Tanzanian citizen , who prior to his appointment at #Facebook has held several top roles, He is the man to call on in his line of work. He was the Vice President of Audience Experience for #CNN Worldwide and has also worked as a marketing executive for Community Connect Inc., a web publisher of sites like #BlackPlanet.com and #MiGente.com; and #BMW of North America.

 According to his press team Mr Kay Madati is the head of Facebook's Entertainment and Media Strategy. He is considered an expert in leveraging technology and media to engage consumers.He leads the Facebook team that creates marketing strategies for television, theatrical and media partners and positions the social media giant as a key player for entertainment content publishers and distributors.
